We loved seeing the beluga whales the most. The enclosures were well through out and animals seemed content. We ate in the submarino restaurant and that was lovely, with delicious food. The whole experience was great, and we would highly recommend this to others.
Very nice everything, the care of the animals and the choreography. Also the kindness of the staff really wonderful! We hope that with the flood in Valencia you had no damage to people, animals and property. Bravo!

The world of the seas and Oceans reproduced here, on multiple planes.... exciting, even the penguins! Then I forgot about the cine 4 D option ... whatever

Seeing so many sea creatures up close is an extraordinary opportunity. It is very rare to see birds so close. Excellently solved.
Ticket booking super easy. Everything at the Ozeaneum was a great experience. However, the food prices were quite expensive for a family of four. It didn't work with the €7 parking fee, we had to pay the expensive parking fee of €2.30 / hour. The employee could not explain this to us.

It was a very nice day. I particularly liked the huge variety of different creatures that you could see and especially the passages where fish and other creatures swim over you. I liked the manta rays best and the penguins were particularly interesting and exciting

The seals were the best. Everything else was great too, no question. A lovely place to linger and watch lots of animals. The catering, on the other hand, has a lot of catching up to do, it was nothing. Waiting 40 minutes for a coffee when there were only 5 people in front of me is really not great.

A large and colorful variety, great and educational dolphin show, definitely worth a visit! We particularly liked the beluga whales, dolphins and turtles. A great experience.

It was a fascinating experience. Wonderful, an enrichment. But please stop with the dolphin show. These animals need to be free and certainly don't want to be kissed and cuddled, to the loud delight of the audience. It is a degradation of these clever creatures. They do not smile.....

I bought the tickets immediately, online. We arrived at 10.30 and went in immediately. The whole complex was fascinating, we enjoyed like children everything we saw. I recommend to everyone, regardless of age, it's a must visit once in a lifetime. The dolphin show was wonderful, not to be missed.

It was a wonderful day with great background information of the good work this organization is doing and beautiful animals
We were visiting Valencia and decided to visit the Oceanographic Center. Bought tickets online, very easy and simple. The entrance was busy but organized and moved fast and swiftly. All the eates were really good and interesting.
No unpleasant surprises when entering the site as mentioned in other reviews Great place to visit

Beautiful building. Inside all clean, well marked, very helpful and kind people in Information. Amazing spacies, but the dolphins show a bit of a disappointment - lack of wow factor, it doesn't last long with just a few jumps. A bit boring, to be honest.
Very well-kept park and accessible without big queues.... wonderful Arctic/Antarctic part. I would have liked to see some bigger sharks Food service to be reviewed.....

family with 4 1/2 year old girl. the aquarium was engaging so much that the little girl walked to the end. It is a different concept of the aquarium than the aquarium in Genoa. The dolphin show was also very interesting for the child. We then went to the Science Museum where there is a special area for children from 4 to 10 years old. Also in the various pavilions there are several interesting activities/experiments for the baby as well. I would definitely go there again.
View original review in Italian
The oceanográfic is fine. It lacks a picnic area with a microwave for babies. And the science museum is a bit outdated and could use a renovation.
View original review in Spanish
I loved the walk coming to the Aquarium. There was a high concentration of many animal species. The sea lions were super cute. How they played in the water. I loved the Beluga whale. I have never seen anything like that.
Great place! Great show. There were lockers for backpacks and travel bags, which served us well. You can even leave them and open them several times during the day. We left our bags at the Cité de la Science and came back at the end of the day to pick them up.

Oceanografic was great. We spent 5 hours there including a dolphin show. We had sunny weather. We really liked the layout of the facility, you spend time in and out of buildings. All in all, a great day.

It's a pity that the science museum has no signage in French. So it was much less attractive for us.

The aquarium was really very complete, with some very interesting passages. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing; the only real downside of our visit. The Cité des Sciences was very suitable for children, and the experiments were a great success.

Nice experiment to both Museum of Scienze and Oceanographic. Unfortunately not all was available in English language at the science museum, but mostly yes. Oceanographic is really cool and I appreciate their focus on climate change.
The Oceanographic was beautiful. Seeing the different animals and habitats was very exciting. Definitely worth a visit and you should plan around 3 hours. The Science Museum was quite crowded and most of the exhibits were unfortunately broken/not working when we visited.

everything was perfect the only thing that I would check are the machines inside the museum most of the were not working properly
The truth is that I didn't have time to get to the museum, I asked my girlfriend to marry me on the way to the museum and between one thing and another, we didn't have time.

The oceanographic is amazing. Lots and lots of different environments, each with large tanks and some beautiful animals. I especially loved the dolphins and the artic sea area. Definitely the best aquarium I've been to so far. On the downside, a couple of things come across as money grabbing, like the very inflated prices at the restaurant or having to pay for a disposable poncho in the aviary. Considering the entry ticket is quite expensive already, these could be offered at a lower price. The science museum is very interactive and I think best suited for kids. Adults will find some cool curiosities here and there but it doesn't compare to similar museums in other big cities.
Wonderful experiences, well-kept museum, oceanografic is a perfect mix of amusement park and zoo

The oceanografic was great, bus the bus stop time intervals are not compatible with visiting the differents sites. The time table on the leafelet was not the same as the time table at the Oceanografic and for that reason we had to waqit 1 hour for the next bus at 16h30 in the afternoon. I will never take the turist bus again.
I left my Phone/wallet on the Valencia Hop on Hop off Bus and it was located on the bus and returned to me at the stop where I got off, very promptly, with an earlier driver letting me know that it was on the way. It was an excellent outcome and I was truly grateful. Thankyou very very much. David Fleeting (Australia)

Everything was perfect. We visited the park in November. The weather was beautiful, there were no crowds, so we toured the park in peace. The park is neat, clean, the animals seem to be in their natural environment.
Bio Parc was lovely. It was very well thought out woth the enclosures with view points of the animals from all angles. It had a lovely feel to it and the animals were happy and all out and about. Our 7 year old loved it, as did we. It was lovely ro see such happy Gorillas!! I would highly recommended a visit!

Parking in the underground garage for a day ticket price of only €7, we are used to very different prices in Berlin. We rented a wheelchair at the Info Point - free of charge!!!! Experienced a wonderful variety of marine animals. The dolphin show touches young and old.

We really enjoyed our visit to oceanographic getting up close and personal with the marine life. It was well run and organised. A great family day out. It was also good to see healthy options for food at the cafeterias.
Booked online and easy entry The Dolphin show was magnificent and with a tired 5 yr old at the end we could have missed it
I thought the organization was good, everything was clean, especially sharks aquarium and the whales were top. I would have expected more from the dolphin show, it was short and I was confused because the dolphins were divided into three corners and I didn't know where to look. What I didn't like was that there were no crocodiles.

Good afternoon. We did not see the lamurs either at the beginning when we came in or at the end.... in some cases we did not know what to look for behind the glass. The biggest impression is the diving hippos and the long black tongue of the giraffe)))

It was amazing experience. I booked the tickets online, very fast and easy. We visited the Bioparc Valencia with my children and made a rounds almost all day :) They didn't want go out. We saw, how the hippos feed . After the tour, we had lunch there. The food was fresh and tasty. I really like Bioparc and I will recommed all my friends from Bulgaria.
The aquarium with the outer areas is very elaborately designed, the underwater world in particular is very impressive, as is the walk through the tunnels. What a huge effort! In this respect, the initially high admission price of around 40 euros is entirely justified.

To help animals adapt to their natural living conditions, Oceanogràfic has set up various marine ecosystems. These habitats have been designed to best represent the environments the animals’ lineage has adapted to. Oceanogràfic is home to about 15 different habitats and here’s a deeper look into a few:
This Valencia aquarium boasts Europe’s largest dolphinarium with a seating capacity of 1,500 guests, and is home to the Bottlenose Dolphins. At the dolphinarium, research and observation are carried out regularly for their protection and conservation, as well as to study and exhibit dolphins’ biology, behavior, and reproduction manner.
The Oceans habitat is designed with two towers that are connected by a tunnel. With a water capacity of about 6000m³, Oceans is home to unique creatures like Angel Sharks, Blackchin Guitarfish, Grey Reef Sharks, Sand Tiger Sharks, Bull Rays, Sawfish, and many more.
Some of the greatest biodiversity on Earth can be found in warm tropical waters, averaging surface water temperatures of 25º C. These waters have long fascinated researchers. Keep an eye out for Clownfish, Giant Spider Crabs, seals, Green Moray Eels, Surgeonfish, Puffer Fish, Swell Sharks, Leopard Sharks, and many more.
Though occupying smaller space in the middle of the world’s oceans and seas, the Mediterranean waters are a captivating ground for rare biodiversity. In this habitat, you can see common octopus, spiny lobsters, dreamfish, sea bass, Mediterranean barracuda, pearly razorfish, spotted catshark, dogfish, undulate rays, and many more.
The mysterious continent of Antarctica has been a subject of intrigue for decades. To mimic the continent, Oceanogràfic’s Antarctica habitat is completely covered with ice and snow throughout the year. The Antarctica habitat at Oceanogràfic is home to the Gentoo Penguins, flightless birds that thrive in such conditions.
Oceanogràfic’s Arctic habitat is divided into two levels: the first level provides a bird’s eye view of the ice-filled ecosystem, while the second level brings you face-to-face with the animals. Standing at about 12 meters in height, one can expect to find the captivating Beluga Whale family swimming around in this habitat.
The interesting thing about the Crocodile Preserve habitat is that it has been designed to allow easy nesting of these reptiles. This habitat has been installed on the central inlet in a lake within the premises. Here, one can expect to find the Slender-snouted Crocodiles gently resting in their natural environment.
The Wetlands/Aviary habitat is a massive sphere, standing at about 26 m in height. It has been created in such a way so as to accommodate animals and birds native to the Mediterranean Marshlands and the American Mangrove. Look out for the Eurasian Spoonbills, Glossy Ibis, and more.
The Islands is another outdoor installation at Oceanogràfic, designed so as to best represent the South American coast. This is where researchers study the behavior of animals like sea lions, walruses, and seals. All these animals can be identified with a signature trait: the wide, flat legs that they use for movement.
Oceanogràfic has a living lake with diverse aquatic birds, including red-crested pochard, common shelduck, and whooper swan. Various bird species visit year-round from Albufera Natural Park and the former Turia River bed.
Oceanogràfic prides itself on being home to the largest jellyfish exhibit in Europe. All of these species are housed in different tanks and aquariums across the premises, like in the Access Building. Look out for the Barrel Jellyfish, Common Jellyfish, Flame Jellyfish, Japanese Sea Nettle, Mauve Stinger, and many more.
True to its name, the Mysteries of the Sea habitat attempts to uncover some secrets of the Earth’s waters. Divided into six ‘jewels’ or aquariums, nothing can prepare you for the tiny, unique, brightly-colored inhabitants here. One can identify 16 species, including the Big-belly Seahorse, Peacock Mantis Shrimp, Boxfish, and more.
Your first impression of what Oceanogràfic has in store for you lies in the Access Building, the entrance. The aquarium here has been created to represent the shallow, sandy waters and temperate waters that species like Shovelhead Sharks, Carpet Sharks, Common Jellyfish, and more, call home.
This habitat explores the ecosystem of some of the most remote corners of our planet. A walk through the Oceanic Islands covers five areas, each representing a different part of Earth. Guests can learn about the evolution of species here and find animals like the Aldabra Giant Tortoise, Hawaiian Goose, and more.
A unique aspect of the Mediterranean Tortoise habitat is that it has been created with the intention of preserving three endangered species: the Cartagena Rockrose plant, the spur-thighed Testudo Graec tortoise, and the Hermann Tortoise. The installation accurately represents a typical Mediterranean ecosystem.
